Background

The Leviathan Party has a long and decorated history. Its origins are quite ancient with evidence pointing to its founders being the ones to establish Lorath's Republic. The party has become home to the growing expansionist and militarist movements within Lorath. Despite its popularity with military leaders and young senators it has lost its moderate and conservative wings. For now it stands as Lorath's largest political party but its majority is only a thin margin. If they are to have continued political success it must rely on the Unity party maintaining cohesion. Its rival the Whale party has much more to gain from its collapse than the rigid and uncompromising Leviathans.
