Maester of Winterfell Vorian

Like many Maesters the past stories before he joined the guild are a secret. Kept away to stop any bias from being observed.
His tale is that he joined the guild as a young boy. A noble by brith, his father had too many sons and given his bookish deposition he was sent off to Oldtown to learn.
Vorian was a smart child. Quick with numbers and accounting, though his literary work needed more time. It is said that in the end, due to his devotion, these two flipped with Vorian now being known as one of the best literary writers in Westeros.
After completing his chain at an unprecedented young age Vorian was sent to study under the Maesters at King's Landing. With many of the Archmaesters thinking he would eventually become Grand Maester due to his wit and skill.
It was here that Vorian would see the fall of Visenya and the end of the Targayren dynasty as a whole. It was said he was instrumental in aiding Otho Bracken take the city. Though the reports on this are minimal ans mostly rumour, gossip ans speculation.
After this, it was deemed that Vorian should take up his own role as Maester with the death of the previous occupant at Winterfell. As one of the most talented, Vorian was naturally selected for such a prestigious role serving under a King.
He did so admirably, though during his time John would not see eye to eye with his opinions and beliefs. Especially when it came to the war for the Iron Throne. With Vorian vocal in his support agaisnt the Norths inclusion.
When John stark was murdered, Vorian remained in Winterfell. Even when Lyanna Stark fled. Stating "I will take up the burden or holding this keep. You shall rally our kingdom".
Vorian was steadfast in his resolve. Though intelligent he allowed others to shine in their areas of expertise. Gaining huge acclaim in the Civil war and then for his assistance to Queen Lyanna Stark in the war agaisnt the Vale.
Ever since Vorian has stood by his Queens side. Doing all he can to keep the North strong and united.
