A tree that connects to other planes of existance.
Purpose / Function
The world tree is used as a way to travel between realms. It can go between Melrilia, The Shadowfell, Vanheim, Nifilheim, The Abyss, The Elemental planes, The Nine hells, The Etheral Plane, Krynn, and Aelortha.
Alterations
This no longer takes you to Asgard and Vahalla as well as Arcavios.
History
The World Tree once had access to all the realms that it is connected to. However due to ragnarock happening the gods destroyed the parts of the tree that connected it to Asgard meaning no one can travel except they are a planeswalker or have ascess to the plane shift spell.
As Daemyar was attack and concering that he would spread to arcavios the founder dragons destroyed the part of the world tree to prevent him from crossing over. However, once they reopened the path Witherbloom students are trying to repair the damage for Melrilians to come to Arcavos.
