Personal history

Tal'Sin was first gift from May'chalithra Palefury to Rikica'asnet Spiderbane to win his affections. Uncertain what to think of the present, Rikica decided to name the beetle Tal'Sin, "Tal" standing for "Love, pain, wound, wounded" and "Sin" for "Festival, joy, pleasure", to present those mixed feelings. Would he be just used by the young maiden, or was there something else, and would it become of doom of him or something far more beautiful?
Rikica avoids calling the beetle by it's name when others are present, as he gets upset when the name (and as extension his feelings he often gets so defensive about) is criticized. As things have moved further, both the beetle and the gift giver have started to grow on him, though. Beetle has since also come a code word for Riki and May to alert one another.
