Welda’s Crippling Grasp
This Spell is a self-made homebrew by the author. Use it at your own risk.
Crippling Grasp is a particularly nasty crowd control spell. While feeling awfully powerful in the hands of wizard trainees, it's true potential is in the hands of a more powerful mage, who isn't that much into damage. The spell is particularly useful when mage needs to flee or when the enemy needs to slow down.
Make a ranged spell attack. On a hit, the target takes 2d8 necrotic damage, and its movement speed is halved until the start of your next turn.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using slot of 2nd level or higher, you can target one more creature in range for each slot level above 1st.
Ghostly arms pop from the ground to hold the target back, making their feet feel weak.
