Drow Houses
in Families & ClansInstead of families, drows often call their lines as "Houses," especially when speaking about the more well-off drow. This practice has partly developed because members of the same house are not always blood-related and sometimes break into smaller houses and firmly consider themselves separate from one another, somewhat similar to clans. Houses are usually centered around a drow matron, who holds their position as head of the family.
