Scepter of Aurelia

The Scepter of Aurelia is the highest ranking member of the Church of Aurelia. They are elected from the nine Scions by all Winged members of the church.

Qualifications

All Scepters of Aurelia are previous Scions, wholly embodying the trait of their devotary. Thus, all Scepters are impressive generals, clergymen, scholars, or charity workers- depending on their devotary.

Requirements

To be a Scepter of Aurelia, a Scion must receive a majority vote from all members of the church that have chosen their devotary and completed their trial- the Winged of Aurelia

Duties

The Scepter of Aurelia works to ensure the continued peace and lack of evil in the kingdom. They ensure the Scions are focused on their tasks, and completing them to the best of their ability. As the church functions as a government of sorts for the commoners, the Scepter often meets with the King of Mercadia and his councils to ensure the people prosper.
