In 1660, The Athocist Empire annexed the plant of Vizeria, exterminating its warrior culture, alongside billions of people, but at a massive material and human cost. Now, three years later, Athocist expansion can now continue, as the Athocist empire begin to make moves towards the invasion and annexation of the Brink system, a series of small worlds littered with ancient human technology
The Story follows Callan McClarke, a newly appointed starmasted at the very top of the Athocist military hierarchy, Hexhunter Subject XIII, a penal knight from an experimental order and survivor of the Vizerian Genocide, Eleonore Krúger, Athocist heroine and exemplar warrior, and Spirit-Girl-In-Red, the enigmatic last chief of the Vizerian tribes, living in exile away from the Athocists
