King Savic Justice Pierson, The Reluctant Ruler (a.k.a. The King of Necessity)

Backstory:

Savic Pierson was born to a family of mixed heritage, with roots in several different races and cultures. His father was a human/Goliath/dragonborn fighter, his mother an elven/Dwarven/halfling ranger.  He was raised in the mountains among a community of dwarves and halflings. He learned to fight at a young age, training with his father and the other warriors of his village. As he grew older, he began to travel and adventure, seeking out challenges and honing his skills as a fighter. earning the attention of a number of bards who sang songs of his legendary adventures.
During his travels, Savic met a beautiful Elven woman named Isolde, who was a member of a powerful noble family in the city state of Awatto who had no male heirs. They were married in a lavish ceremony, with representatives from all of the city states in attendance. Although their marriage was arranged for political reasons, it quickly became clear that they were deeply in love.
While his marriage to Lady Eriana was one of love, his relationship with his male consort was one of political expediency. The warlock came from a rich and powerful family, and his support was crucial to Savic's rise to power. Despite this, the two men formed a deep bond, and Savic trusted his consort implicitly.
Thirty years ago, the Rylic Dynasty ruled Awatto with an iron fist, imposing heavy taxes and siphoning off the city's resources for their own personal gain. When the crown prince, Malakai Rylic, murdered the High Cleric of Oman and was not held accountable, the people of Awatto rose up in rebellion. Savic Peirson led the charge, gathering an army of like-minded fighters and overthrowing the Rylic Dynasty in a series of bloody battles. After the rebels emerged victorious, Savic was crowned King of Awatto.
As king, Savic was a just and fair ruler, but the death of his first-born son, Jensen, to a congenital heart issue, left him broken and emotionally scarred. He has since become weaker, passing many of his duties to advisors and government ministers. His reluctance to officially name his next-born son as the crown prince has caused some concern among the nobility, but most remain loyal to him, knowing that he has always acted in the best interests of the people of Awatto.

Description:

Savic Peirson is a tall, muscular man with tanned skin, long silver hair, and piercing blue eyes. His facial features are a blend of human, elf, dwarf, halfling, goliath, and dragonborn traits, giving him a unique and striking appearance. He wears a suit of ornate plate armor adorned with the sigil of his house, a golden dragon breathing flames. Despite his advanced age, he still carries himself with the confidence and vigor of a much younger man.
