Queen Isold Pierson

Queen Lyra is charming and sophisticated, with a talent for diplomacy and persuasion. She is highly intelligent and has a natural curiosity about the world around her. She is well known for her foundations to help the more unfortunate gain access to education setting up a number of  scholarships to the most prestigious schools along with opening and funding public libraries across the city.    Queen Lyra was born into a noble elven family, and was raised to be a diplomat and a peacemaker. She met Savic Pierson when he was still  young before he became a rebel leader, and was immediately drawn to his charisma and his cause. She used her skills as a bard to rally support for him, and together they overthrew the corrupt Rylic dynasty and established the city-state of Awatto.   Lyriel was devastated by the death of her son, but she did not show her grief publicly. Instead, she channeled her pain into her work, throwing herself into her duties as Queen and using her connections to build alliances and increase her own power. She resented Savic for his public displays of grief and his subsequent withdrawal from courtly affairs, seeing his weakness as a liability to their family's future.   While Savic was deeply affected by the loss of his son, he was unable to move past his grief and continued to mourn long after Lyriel had seemingly moved on. This created tension between the two, as Lyriel struggled to balance her own ambitions with Savic's need for emotional support. Despite their differences, however, they remained committed to each other and their family, and worked together to maintain their power and influence in Awatto.
