Hemisferric School of Magic

Structure

The school itself is split in to two colleges and campuses.
The first is the school of Higher Studies: Business, Engineering, non-magics. This can be compared to a regular state university. Though the main magical center of the university is very nice, the buildings that house the Higher Studies programs feel like an afterthought. They are much less magical and fantastical, and are more purpose driven.
The second is the school of Magics Gem of the city of Yunque. The campus is a sprawling square of structures of architectural prowess. Some are branching out into the ocean itself and have classroom beneath the waves. The buildings feature high arches and beautiful color changing windows.

Departments

The school boasts a number of departments, the jewel however is the Divination Department. As divination is the magic of discovery, is easily works towards the schools mission of expanding knowledge of the known world.

Preparatory Program

The school has a chain of "Minisferic" schools across Osath where students can go to get ready for admission to the large University. They provide entrance exam help, in addition to exposing young children to magic early.

Structure

While the dean is the technical head of the school, the most visible position is that of the Head of the School of Divination. This position is currently held by Orion Ortiz

Public Agenda

The goal of the School is to broaden the knowledge of magical and physical workings of Meridian. This is in addition to educating and preparing the young people of the world for a better and brighter future.
