The Tears of Ruby

The Tears of Ruby is an organization of monks devoted to Firmes one of the Founding Gods of Meridian.
They are commonly thought of as a "red-cross" type organization. They work towards improving public health through preservation of life and its people. As Firmes is the god of rebirth, they often house those who need a second chance at life, and their temples are a safe-haven where no questions are asked.

Beliefs

Those who are called to serve at the monastery are said to co-inhabit their bodies with a fire spirit. The fire spirit is bound to the monastery through Firmes. When its current vessel dies, the fire spirit finds its next vessel to work with to spread the joy of redemption.
