Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Adilo is held up as an example of peak physical fitness for his time. Believed to be significantly taller than the average human of the era he is also often described as being particularly handsom, though is rarely depicted without his helmet.

Special abilities

It was believed by many that Adlio possessed the power of resurrection as there are several accounts of him being slain in battle only to rise up once more in a holy light with a renewed vigor to strike down his foes. Whether true or not he became known as The Phoneix Knight and many to this day believe that he was not truly slain by Juiblex.

Apparel & Accessories

Adilo was easy to spot on a battlefield due to his distinctive winged helmet and yellow cape. His tunic and shield were adorned with a yellow phoenix.

Specialized Equipment

Proficient with many weapons, Adilo favored the sword and shield and would often fight on horseback flanked by his cavalry.

Personal history

Born in the Mythic Era during The Great Incursion, Adilo, along with his sister, Osistam, rose to prominence in the Imperial military eventually becoming the marshal at the age of twenty five. Little is known about his early life, but it is belived he was from the northern regions of Merkia and was born to a noble household.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Adilo led many victories against the demonic hordes. Some of his most notable actions were breaking the Siege of Hyblira against the armies of Yennoghu, The Victory of Mount Amston against Pazuzu, routing the Rutterkin horde and slaying Hutijinn and Zariel during The Final Conflict

Failures & Embarrassments

Adilo was ultimately defeated by Juiblex during The Final Conflict and was elevated to Sainthood after his death by Oino

Intellectual Characteristics

It is believed that Adilo was a very logical and pragmatic commander, only committing his forces when victory was ensured and sacrificing them when the ultimate gain outweighed the loss. This made him particularly effective against the chaotic forces of the demons.

Morality & Philosophy

Adilo believed that through order they would find victory. This philosophy held true in many of his battles and his presence inspired great discipline amongst the ranks.
