Dezarian Grand Army

The origin of the Dezarian Grand Army (abbreviated as DezGrA) was during Fiumri's attack on the coalition preceding the Republic of Dezaria, Under the man known as Alexsandr, volunteers joined the defense of their homelands and were able to defend against the Fiumri's military.
In the same year that the Republic was formally declared in 3257AC, so too was the Dezgra.
Currently , there is no lawful dictate of conscription, as enough civilians join voluntarily. The military training regime is considerable, as was shown during the Punitive Wars of 5115AC to 5119AC, where the relatively small DezGrA was able to yet again hold out against the Kingdom of Fiumri.
During the current year of 5249, DezGrA has a standing army of approximately 22,ooo soldiers, plus a further 15,ooo of inactive soldiers which can be called to arms. The Grand Marshall can also enact a Conscription Law at any time to engage citizens to join the DezGrA during a state emergency.
Forces are garrisoned at key points along the Fiumri -Dezarian border, including the North Garrison and Ryekdver, plus its primary garrison and higher level training centre are located within Vojstok.
