Narcotics

Blue Bacco

A mild stimulant grown from the cobac plant and is dried. It is then smoked, emitting a cobalt tinged smoke. Traditionally its leaves are rolled, whilst those with lesser means have chopped up Blue Bacco rolled into rag fibres, traditionally hued blue.   Its use is widespread across the Central Continent and its origins seem to be from the Dark East, perhaps being brought over thousands of years prior to the Mending when there was some trade between the young nations and Helstraad Empire.   Some proprietors ban its use, as the blue smoke stains the interior to its distinct, blue colour. Habitual users have their teeth and tongue died as well over time.   Elves usually detest Blue Bacco.

Bhaat

A mild narcotic derived from the Bhaat plant and endemic to Northern Dezaria and Juntland. Is dried and then chewed for consumption. After use, the remaining substance is spat out, staining whatever the remains land on.

Breezo

A strong narcotic which temprarily enchanced reflexes and mental processing. Unfortunately use of this drug can cause permanent damage to the mind.

Kansha

A smoked narcotic from the Dark East. Has a unique characteristic that the the silky yellowish smoke reacts to nearby soundwaves. A practiced smoker can hum a tune to make the smoke dance if mesemerising ways.

Shreem

Shreem is a hallucinogenic fungus. It is very hard to find in Merra, and some claim that it was brought over from the Dark East. Unless refined, it is hard to overdose from Shreem, more likely the person imbibing too much will vomit before too much can be consumed.
