The dragonborn Surina Myastan, born and raised in Junstol, is on her path to become a Soulguard knight. She is very devoted to Helm and the Holy Order, and believes that trespasses against the faith require vengeful consequence.

The Adventure Starts

Awaiting her chance at the Trails to become a Soulguard Knight, Surina had a chance encounter with old acquaintances from her childhood. As she lunched at the Dog's Leg hearing their stories, the local apothecary stumbled into the tavern and sought their help, claiming she had monsters in her basement. Disbelieving in such things, Surina let the other investigate whilst she finished her delicious meal.
But she quickly changed her mind half way through, and rushed to help the apothecary. To her surprise, strange monsters had indeed infested the basement. Surina reported the incident to the local high priestess, who in turn tasked Surina to investigate some other strange incidents. Keen to make a good image, Surina proceeded to investigate the strange happenings, revealing strange portents of upcoming strife.

A Difference In Opinion

Following events at the Salt Mine in Sune 9th, 5249, things came to a head between Surina and her old childhood friend, Gilles. The dragonborn was adamant that Gilles was evil, a practitioner of the dark arts. Unable to sway the opinion of the other adventurers, Surina left the group.
