The Eastern Continent

Also known as the Dark East, the continent is not well documented by Merra. It sits beside Merra's eastern edge and although connected by land, access between the two continents has been effectively cut off by the nigh impassable Godsrange Mountains and Deathsea.
Prior to the Mending at the end of The Incursion, one could cross the continents by foot via Helgate. This tunnel beneath the eastside of the Godsrange Mountains was built by the Helstraad Empire, but following the events a millennia ago, the access has been seemingly made impossible due to the large amount of aberrations that made it their home.
The Helstraad Empire ruled over the Dark East for millennia, until it fell apart following events of the Mending.
