The Megom

The Much Esteemed Guild of Merchants (Megom), or Gommies as some call them, is a powerful and independant organisation which originated in Fiumri but now holds considerable sway across most of Merra.
Most merchants will join the Guild in order to obtain protection but also better prices on wholesale goods, amongst other benefits.
The guild will find profit no matter the situation in Merra, whether peace or war, as long as the events are stable and foreseeable. Chaos is a gommy's worst enemy.
Gommies usually have a central office in any major town, with at least one designated representive.
