Brine Boew
A tradition belonging to the residents in the country of Saline, and those taking residence in the Salt Spires.
Features a parent and their coming of age child finding materials and building a home over a 24 hour period.
Its name translating to brine construction in the language of Donsel.
History
Starting from the settlers of Saline who while constructing their homes disliked the taste of the mushrooms they had and tried to dilute it with strong alcohols.
It slowly developed to elders teaching their children on their coming of age the techniques they used in their own youth.
Execution
It is broken up into 5 separate stages all taking place upon an individuals 16th birthday.
Search
Starting during the morning the strongest parent and the child search the neighbouring land to find easy access points to the mycelium network.Harvest
The parent teaches them how to harvest the Brine Root and help them harvest enough to construct an additional igloo.Digestion
A few of the brine roots are Sunken in strong alcohols, quantity differs based on wealth. These are then consumed by both the child and the parent.Construction
They both then while under the influence of the alcohol start construction in a new room attached to the families Igloo.Occupying
Upon the buildings completion and the hangover taking effect the child's furniture and possessions are moved into the new room.Components and tools
A combination of Brine Root and other building materials.
A strong alcohol of any variety is required for the Digestion phase.

Someone turning the of age(16) as well as their stronger parent, or guardian.
