Cosmology

The cosmology of the world is similar to how it functions in reality but there are a few key differences. Ranging from the stars to the stray rocks drifting in space.
Space The abyss is our equivalent of space and is known as the absence of abstract with other titles been the void, the nothingness behind the darkness. Travel is done through here by magical means, but the ability to do it is heavily limited.
Stars The stars are collections of pure abstract energy, unlike the rest of reality where the abstract becomes more stable, it remains unstable. They act as a gateway to a plane of pure abstract with the gateways appearing inside the abyss.  The stars each make up a solar system, each solar system is its own timeline. As time doesn't flow through conventional means the galaxies all exist at once.
Planets & Moons The planets are planes of reality with surrounding moons as demi planes. The worlds are infinite in length but appear round to prevent mortal eyes from mental stress. It is possible to land on a world and perceive the horizon as curved as the infinite expanse also adjusts to mortal eyes. Moons orbit planets making them easier to reach from the planet. While the moons are equally infinite they are smaller because of their limited source of power. This power can range from an artefact, deity or a wizard.
Rogue Objects When a planet or moon becomes dislodged from its orbit and leaves its solar system it becomes known as either an asteroid, comet or meteoroid. Asteroid forms from a world that orbits a star, but not around a planet and having the size of a moon or smaller. Comets are the same as asteroids but coated in a protective layer giving them a spectral trail as they pass by. Meteoroid refers to when a piece of an asteroid of comet enters a planet and collides with it merging the two worlds together, this collision has happened on Hollow with a piece of land that belonged to the elven ancestors. Sometimes belts of these form and have a unique effect on astral travel.
Auroras They aren't fully connected with cosmology but are the collection of souls becoming visible from a weak point in the atmosphere. The interpretation of why the souls are there varies between pantheons.
Constellations They are a collection of stars that have realities that were are very similar to each other making them brighter than most other stars. But the main use and discovery of constellations for mortals come from divine gifts or luck.
