LP-8: Midnight Stroll
General Summary
Departing haste fully in the morning on account of their limited time frame.
The journey is relatively peaceful until some of the group notices how they are potentially being followed by a wagon.
Carefully keeping their distance they eventually set up a place for rest in the night.
Using their invocations they shield themselves from view, with the forest for extra protection.
Gerald decides during his watch to wander out of the camp carrying a torch and a set of travellers clothes, forgetting about the men hunting the group.
One of them using some arcane magic blinded and deafened him, he was close to being taken down but thanks to his screaming Omen and Sycamore were able to get to him in time to save him.
One of the stalkers fled into the night, another was killed, and two were interrogated.
The one seemingly young lad desperate to help his adoptive family with an affliction was given an elixir of Regulations and a promise from Sycamore that he would aid the family on his return.
Gludroww took the other guy out of the camp, to discover he was the leader and had obtained a Chinderin grimoire of necromancy. She returned to the group stating she had killed him, although this was a lie as she made a deal with him. A deal that was made under the blessing of the Maggot Queen.
