Mercenary

Being one of the least recognized and credited career options is the Mercenary. Not gaining the credit for the task was miles off from any settlement or because under contract to not talk about it. These frequently happen where the empires try to shelter their residents and hide the truths because no guard wants to fight a troll or well unified goblins, but a bunch of adventurers looking to gain lots of treasure are more likely to face such things. The often only leaves a select few remembered, be it of legends or in a small town that owes their lives to them. Though the job may be tough the reward is often exenterated, high pay from nobles or a small family owed a favou.

No qualifications are officially needed, but being strong is definitely required to withstand the struggles it brings.

It's per commission by the client, generally a noble.

A larger payment than most other careers and the ability to travel.
