Stoic of Preeh
"Preeh cries for the thirsty"
The Stoic of Preeh is a militant order in the priesthood of Preeh, the Divine of charity, mercy and peace. It was founded after Enara Lucha Dich met Preeh introducing the Totems pantheon to the world in -2319.
The Chinderin started to revolt against the new worship leading to the group adopting a more combative approach to relinquish the influence of the Oblivion pantheon had on the mortals. The Stoics also seek to root out the undead, lycanthropes, witches, and other creatures that prey on mortal lives.
As they sought to eliminate the Oblivion worship they created literature on the correct way to worship the spirits, this faith became known as Eight Thorns which eliminated some of the other spirits worshipped and kept the most prevalent of them.
They have small headquarters dotted all throughout the lands of Amriga, with their main base of operations laying in Enara. This base is built at the foot of the mountain where Enara met Preeh.
It is filled with an endless library documenting the foul arts of the Chinderin in hopes of preventing their dark nature from harming mortal life.
They are made by volunteers, taking on the roles of scholars, paladins and priests.
A large amount of these volunteers are orphans that found life in the secure teachings of the Stoics.
