Wagythboahd

The amulet forged in the name of Pearl as a tool for the Echoen Ritual to make a vessel for the Oblivion.
Its name translates to "Warm blood" in Ahgrondani.

Purpose

The intended effect is to wear the amulet indefinitely, the longer one wears it the more dependant they become upon it.  It replaces a creatures default blood by replacing it with an Inked Ichor, the black blood of the the Oblivion. It allows those not born to be vessels to achieve greater deeds than they ever could possibly with their mortal body. Such as being able to see the Void and the necessity for breathing being negated.  It has the added effect or mitigating most injuries allowing extended life for people in dire need, but it does come with its side effects. 

Side effects

The side effects for wearing it are dire, ranging from insanity to slow painful deaths.  The most common is the loss of one's touch with the world, as the blood is replaced the body stops breathing causing the individual to look pale and ghostly.  This hollowness typically leads to a lack of empathy and bringing out the cruel side of most people. 
A rare but potent effect is the vision starting to alter, this causes them to start seeing things. There is an exceptionally rare variation of this that causes the individual to bleed the Ink Ichor from their eyes constantly killing them slowly although painlessly. 
If they force regulate themselves to breath there is an oxygen build up causing the individual to start growing large warts in the interior of their lungs acting as oxygen storage banks until needed. This oxygen is consumed very slowly to strengthen the body, but a rapid growth can cause the bodies veins and muscles to become stuck causing a slow and painful death. 
Upon removal of the amulet after sufficient time it causes the mind of the individual to throb continously. The throb isn't harmful but it is so painful that most that feel it kill themselves as fast as possible. No recorded person who has felt the throb has lived to tell the tale.

History

It was created in the Void before the Chinderin arrived into the world.
The exact creators name was not recorded as they gave themselves to Pearl in the Echoen Ritual.
After the Chinderin fell it floated around with few people understanding its importantance until in the year 74 where Hilda Eliwyn collected a handful of the Chinderin items to bring one of her soldiers to divinity. She did this to amass the power in her province.
