The War of Broken Vows was a five-year conflict sparked by the divorce of monarchs Ituvak Sangsivsaluil and Arsa Sangsivsaluil, who vied for supreme rule of their country. Despite Ituvak's initial advantage due to his birthright, Arsa's determination and a decisive action by Lord Fadung of Saluildungpi led to Ituvak's demise. The war left lasting scars on the land, resulting in a divided kingdom with two capitals, economic decline, and the transformation of a once-beautiful forest into the perilous Mud Pits.
