Expedition Lyra
In a future where space travel is common, the crew of the Calvary Lyra was sent to Mars to find fuel for E Gen It was supposed to be a 6 month expedition, but 3 shuttles later and no access to either ships communications it has been missing for years.
The crew members on the first shuttle were comprised of 5 professors and 15 students. The professors are looking for fuel while the students are supposed to monitor their progress and study the environment.
The first information we find out that something went wrong is when one of the professors used their personal ID card to cut through a door but his palm scanner for the elevator wouldn’t work. Do to sub par security a data breach was in process. As he was let into the research facility that’s when we accounted for 5 student deaths. Just as he returned without a hair out of place a ai voiced intercom e lights the victims on a particular figure taking them out one by one. Once they all meet up in the mess hall for briefing, we see someone who looks like one of their friends in one of the beds with a surgical mask covering they nose and eye area of his head, but he's dead. They send down one more shuttle of 3 to find out what happened and it comes back with no survivors

I can only recall these words, “Imposter aboard, Abort mission.” I do not know who this is communicated through and how much they know. This individual, who I know as Javanus, is a member from our first expedition that consisted of me and 14 others along with 5 professionals. I have reasons to believe he is an imposter due to the death of 8+ expedition members reported before the departure to this event, including Javanus.

Four other crew members have now perished and Carol said the next death will leave me in peace and my senses stopped being tracked. Yet a metal expert by the name Khalid continues sensing my current location. Carol says it’s because Khalid is made out of metal parts as well. At one point he said, “Maybe they are transforming themselves to think they are human like we used to on Earth."
