The Dragonbane has existed in some form or another since the second Dragon war after the long draconic peace of Qulvarun. It was founded by Praldril Drachedandeon Over the years they would become the most prestige full organization in Qulvarun. They’re golden age were at the first hundreds of years of the existence of the moving cities or Qulvarun. as dragon’s either died or went into hiding the prestige of The Dragonbane started to slowly diminish as other monster slayer organizations and adventurers guild started to show up around the cities. These organizations were sponsored by rich foreigners that could easily convince people to join them instead by paying them more gold.
