While the storm raged, locking many people inside their homes, the last night was no less eventful. To begin with joyous news, the Golden Rose, Count Lucien Corbin, and the Amethyst Eshu, Persephone Blackwood, are now engaged! A romantic dinner, a tear-inducing proposal, and a night of passion have marked a tremendous new step in the lovebirds' lives.   Breaking news, Local Gangrel too angry to die, challenged the sun to a staring contest and won! Albeit at a high and unforeseen cost. Thomas Blackwood found the aid of a Garou, Loves-all-Things, and a new Changeling arrival, Noah, to make it to the Casa de la Rosa. Hoping to find refuge to heal in the mansion of his friend and his adopted daughter, Thomas snuck into a guest room to not interrupt the ongoing proposal. The poor man, a blackened crisp from his sun battle, found himself confined to the bed. Unable to turn off his heightened senses, he also found himself wishing he could be anywhere else as the oblivious owners of the Casa celebrated their new engagement.   On a different note, the night saw a marked increase in board game activity! The baby Malk, Anubis, and her adopted Dragons played Monopoly all night, having a relaxing evening together. While there may have been some awkward moments, it certainly improved over the evening. The Brujah trio, Late and the Thorns of the Rose, also enjoyed a game of Monopoly. Although the twins might grumble slightly at that last part as the gamble cost them a vintage Deadpool wallet and Perry the Platypus wristwatch. There's a lesson for you, folks. If someone tells you they won a condo in a hand of poker, do not gamble vintage items in a game of Monopoly with them.   Collin Vano , the Childe of Lazlo Dalca and a rather extreme individual, has arrived in the city. Collin met Ethan Ambrose tonight as everyone's favorite Salubri twink found some time to himself in a bar. What could Collin be here for? What did he mean by 'leaving calling cards?' Stay tuned and find out.   A Satanist and a Priest share a pew....no, folks, that is not the setup for a joke, although I am sure it would make a great one. Percival Kent and Father Gabriel Cassiel met in the Cathedral tonight. The unlikely pair discovered the other was a mage and had an interesting conversation. Percival Kent was a bit more double-sided, while Gabriel revealed some of his storied past. I must admit, my listeners, that I am rather intrigued to see how this partnership they have formed will play out. I've gotta say that I sense nothing but Good Omens about this duo, my friends.     Finally, the storm that so ravaged the city last night seems to have gone its way. While damage is evident in parts of the city, the skies began to clear around midday, and the sun started to peek through. Clean-up crews worked hard to clear up most of the damage, and once again, the streets are back open for business. The sun goes down, and the city becomes genuinely alive as the night owls flock to the clubs, shows, and other entertainment.
