"Was the Amnesia Pulse difficult for Architect to create, or was it no more a hassle than lightning a flame? I doubt anyone really know the answer to that question. The scope of it, however ... It certainly makes one understand just how unfathomably powerful He was.
— A scholar, talking about the presumed last act of
Architect.
The Amnesia Pulse. A force that which ripped across the whole of Vael'Eteria, unleashed by Architect Himself. It is believed to have been His last personal act before He vanished. Most scholars agree that it was what marked the beginning of the Great Sorrow.

Effects
Purging Memories
It primarily affected memories, or at the very least the concept of memories. Memories connected to certain individuals, entities, events, and items, as well as certain natural and metaphysical laws.

Memories of a Creator
"When I try to remember what He looked like, all I see is a fuzzy silhouette. As if I am submerged in dark waters and He is looking down at me from the other side of the surface... Still, I cannot escape the feeling of incredible awe and ... fear whenever I think of Him.
The most well-known memories to have been affected are the ones concerning Architect Himself. The memories regarding Him have either been outright wiped out or have faded to the point where they are fuzzy and difficult to grasp. Some even experience pain when they attempt to remember the Creator.
However, while the memories may be gone or difficult to remember, the reverence and fear of Architect have been left intact, and some would argue, increased exponentially.
It should also be noted that the Amnesia Pulse did not affect any physical writings of Architect. Whatever was written down about Him, which in truth was less than one might expect, was left undisturbed. The cataclysmic times of the Great Sorrow caused several of these texts to vanish, however, with all too few having been successfully archived in Avikhre.

The effects on Origin
"Yes, I remember. I remember everything. Every single moment I had with Him, with perfect clarity. Except for that one moment when He vanished...
The only one who was nigh-completely excluded from the effects of the Amnesia Pulse was Origin; The Daughter of Architect: This is why Origin is also known as The One who Remembers.
The reason why She retained the memories of Architect with such clarity is only known to Herself and She has refused to speak of it to anyone, even Guardian. There was, however, one memory that was ripped away from Her unwillingly: It was of the moment when Architect vanished.

The effects on Guardian
"There are some memories of Him that I do no longer have, or which are now fuzzy and unclear. Quite frustrating, I must admit. And yet I believe I am the only one in Existence who remembers the moment when He vanished ... Not even my Sister was allowed that. While a part of me understands why that is so, it still worries me.
— Guardian.
Excluding Origin, Guardian is the one entity in Vael'Eteria who remembers Architect the best, though a significant amount of His memories were purged by the Amnesia Pulse.
The one memory He remembers with stark clarity, however, is of the moment Architect vanished: Whatever happened, He has made it clear that He will not, or cannot, speak of it to anyone. Not even Origin.

Memories of Past Times
The Amnesia Pulse affected more than physical memories. In one of the more abstract and perhaps more notable examples, it affected the memories of Time itself. Particularly the memories of the past; of that which has already occurred and that which Time has let pass.
Particularly memories concerning Architect Himself. Similar to all others, the memories of Architect which Time had are now either unclear or wiped out completely.
It appears that in Time's futile attempts to remember that which it has forgotten, it will instead construct false memories. This in turn sometimes has a notable effect on the present.
This all has also made traversing the Time Zone much more difficult and hazardous. Attempts to travel to the past times prior to the Great Sorrow have all been futile.
