"It's not like I like you or anything... idiot. Now will you help me or not?!
General
Tsundere is a uncommon mental condition that only affects Anishans. The severity of it is different from specimen to specimen and can worsen or lessen with time. While complete recovery from the Tsundere Condition is rare, the risk of afflicting it again at a later date is hardly ever heard of.
How exactly one becomes afflicted with the Tsundere Condition appears to vary from case to case. Some appear to be born with it, while others receive it over time.
The woman behind the name
The condition is named after an Anishan who is believed to have been one of the first documented cases with the affliction. Tsundere Amiko -- up until her death of heartbreak -- was also one of those who did, or does, not consider what is essentially their personality, to be a mental condition that can be cured.
Cast in unfair light
It should be noted that it is not a wholly negative Condition, even if it is all too often cast in such light: those affected can live a more or less ordinary life but their social circles can take a severe beating. This is due to their behavior towards acquaintances, friends, and especially the ones they are romantically interested in.
"Oh this. It's nothing really. Amaria was in a sour mood and I tried to ease the tension. She did not like my poor attempt and threw a chair at me. When I dodged it I happened to slip and fell face-first on the floor. She rightfully called me an idiot and then she bought me a coffee. So all in all, yesterday was not too bad.

Mental Traits
The Anishans with the Tsundere Condition are usually stern, cold, and sometimes even hostile towards these groups. Ultimately though, they are friendly and helpful, even if it might not be noticeable at the moment, and if they are confronted about it, then they will usually deny it with all their heart.
Those affected will also feel generally grumpy and irritable. In the worst cases, this might also result in headaches and migraines. Additionally, it may cause the affected to suppress their emotions and be dishonest with themselves, especially when it comes to heavy emotional circumstances.
Treatments
As has already been noted, full recovery from the Tsundere Condition is fairly uncommon, but that does not mean that certain treatments help keep it at bay.
The most effective and straightforward treatment is to simply act friendly and to be patient and supportive of the one affected.
Un-treatments.
One must be careful not to push certain things at the wrong moment, as it may provoke an aggressive outburst and cause the symptoms to worsen.
Emotional rejection has also been shown to worsen the condition and may even cause the affected to turn Gundere or even Yandere if severe enough.
"I... am trying to overcome it you know. But you do not realize how it is. The compulsion to react in such a manner to your friends, to your loved ones. Like with the chair incident with Elm. I am not even thinking about it when it happens but in moments like these when I can look back with a clear mind... Its horrifying, and I want it gone! I want it gone...
— Amaria, crying, talking about the underlying effects of the Tsundere Condition.
