Miday - Edition 2 "Divided we Stand, United we Fall"

Welcome to the realm of Miday, a land forged in the crucible of rebellion and rebirth. Almost a millennium ago, the oppressed citizens of Midon, a tyrannical nation notorious for its cruelty, rose against their oppressors in a fierce uprising. The region of Revolutia became the epicenter of a prolonged and bloody conflict known as the Midish Civil War. In the midst of chaos, four extraordinary leaders emerged as the beacons of hope—Elysia, the Warden of Gaia; Pyrrhus, the Commander of Hephaestus; Zephyr, the Master of Horizon; and Aquaria, the Sovereign of INTA. Together, they formed the Elemental Unity, a legendary alliance that united the rebels and eventually led to the dissolution of Midon.   From the ashes of Midon, Miday was officially founded, its Elemental Unity evolving into the distinct and renowned militaries of Gaia, Hephaestus, Horizon, and INTA. The land itself is a diverse tapestry of tundra, snow-capped mountains, sprawling mountain ranges, arid deserts, dense swamps, ancient rainforests, and plains. Ancient rifts to the elemental planes, remnants of a forgotten era, dot the landscape, protected by skilled Portalkeepers.   As the characters traverse this multifaceted land, they will encounter ancient artifacts, relics, and arcane mysteries scattered throughout Miday. The Oracle, a potent weapon created during the rebellion, holds the key to a prophesized cataclysm, and its shards are scattered across the nation. The characters embark on a quest to uncover the Oracle's secrets, facing challenges and forging alliances in their journey.   Miday's history is marked by the Quadralitiers, the current leaders being Xenia Alterez-Freyja, Quadraliter of Gaia; Neil Jansson, Quadraliter of Hephaestus; Domina Black, Quadraliter of Horizon; and Arcsirius Proxima, Quadraliter of INTA. However, the original names of the four founders have been lost to history, adding a layer of mystery that challenges scholars and adventurers alike.   In the midst of peace, smaller uprisings and unresolved issues, such as the criminal takeover of Leska and the enigmatic outbreak of Mandela, continue to shape Miday's political landscape. The quest to locate the Oracle's shards and prevent doomsday takes the characters on an epic journey filled with adventure, mystery, and moments of profound discovery that will shape the fate of Miday and its people.
