Baron Edrick Selding

Edrick Selding is a nobleman of Lake-Town and recently appointed Baron of Gilvraine, which spanned much of the lands south of Laketown.
Edrick is a stern, ambitious man who tends to always look down his nose upon others, even those who would be considered his peers. With great wealth comes the ability to enlist somebody for any task imaginable and so Edrick rarely commits to any task himself, preferring to get his lackeys or the local towns-folk to undertake his errands for him. He even commands a small militia of house-guards and has connections with some of the fine warriors of Dale.
A man with many fingers in many different pies Edrick has his sights set high, last year he inherited Castle Galvraine when his cousin Farald was killed in a bandit raid on the castle, since then he has led a campaign of retribution on the fiends that attacked the free peoples. With a great deal of wealth behind him there are even rumours that he will soon take a seat on the council of Dale, a prestigious title indeed for the newly appointed Baron.
