Dagmar the Trapper

A few hardy trappers live in the Southern parts of Mirkwood, hunting wild boars amongst the trees for their meat or else along the banks of the dusky river hunting beavers and stoats for their fur, which they trade and use for much of their craftwork. Amfossa is a leader and spokeswoman amongst these trappers. She is a tall, hardy, powerfully-built woman with eyes that seem blue or green or brown depending on the light.
Although the forest is her first love and she spends much of her time travelling as a hermit beneath the bows of the forest, she swears loyalty to Mogdred and the Woodsmen of Tyrant's Hill. Not much is known of her people but what is clear is that they are very able hunters and against all odds they have somehow managed to not only survive the depths of southern Mirkwood but in fact carve out a decent living there.
Dagmar is indifferent to the orcs that inhabit the darkest parts of the forest, for as long as they leave her people alone to live their lives. Nevertheless she was shocked to learn of the meeting between one of her kin and the tall great orc upon the Fenbridge.
