Míriel, the Blacksmith

Míriel is a young woman by Elvish standards who lives in the Artisan quarter of Laketown. She is easily recognisable by her tall stature and particularly sharp ears that protrude from her long chestnut brown hair which she tends to keep in a messy ponytail out of the way.
Míriel is a blacksmith by trade and well respected by both the elves and men of Laketown. She often gifts the children at festivals and market days with toy wooden swords and she helps the adults in town by fixing things where she can and crafting replacements wherever she cannot. 
Míriel is a clever woman, but she feels inadequate compared to her absent master, a craftsmen of great renown from within the Woodland Halls who tutors several apprentices just like her across the lands of Rhovanion. He only comes by once every month or so to judge her progress and give her another tome of theory to read.
Despite her self-doubt, she is beloved by the townsfolk, who are simply happy to have a master of elven craft in their midst!
