Durin The V

Dvergatal "The Sleepy"

Durin V (early Third Age) was a King of Durin's folk who ruled the great city of Khazad-dûm during the height of its glory, and the fifth Durin. Like his father he bore a Ring of Power. Like all Durin's after Durin I he was given the name of the first of the Seven Fathers of the Dwarves because he greatly resembled him in both appearance and manner. He, unlike his predecessor Durin the IV, has heartily joined in friendship and trade with the Quendi encouraged by the skill and ease of kinship the Noldoli of Eregion bring, rekindling a friendship of old.
