Backstory

Gideon was once a member of The Bloodthirsty, a band of ruthless mercenaries who were brought to the island to aid in a war. However, after being abandoned by their employers, Gideon saw an opportunity to make a name for himself by joining The Guardians of the Glades. He quickly became disillusioned with their ideals and saw the island's inhabitants as weak and foolish, believing that only the strong survive. Gideon plans to exploit this belief by sabotaging The Guardians of the Glades and causing chaos on the island. He has already sent a group of adventurers to their certain death, believing that they were weak and unworthy of survival. He also plans to betray any other group that he may be tasked with leading, using them as pawns in his twisted game of power. He sees the other factions on the island as savages and murderers, and believes that he alone has the right to rule over the island.
