Aasimar
The great Phoenix Throne of Ishadia remains a shining beacon in poetry and song, but the reality for the aasimar is that the Mharoti Empire is devouring them slowly but surely, and they struggle to eke out a victory every time the dragons throw an army their way. Pilgrims and paladins bring coin and a wealth of prayers to the aasimar lands, but the doors to the heavens seem firmly shut, and so the power of the angelic folk dwindles. Still, give them a sword and a righteous cause, and they are still capable of putting terror into the hearts of the cruel, the greedy, and the faithless.
