Elf Subrace: Sun Elf

Sun Elves commonly appear with dark skin and hair that comes in varying warm colors, ranging from coal-black to golden blond. Many, but not all Sun Elves wear dreadlocks. Their ears are usually long and slim. Their face markings are usually colored in yellow or cream tones and often resemble the rays of the sun. Unlike the rest of elven kind, male sun elves are capable of growing facial hair. Sun Elves also sport glowing eyes, typically ranging from white, yellow, orange, or red and glow brighter the higher the sun is in the sky. As an option when creating a elven character, you may choose this as your subrace.

Sun Elf Traits

Your sun elf character has certain characteristics in common with all other sun elves.

• Light Bearer. You lose your racial Darkvision trait; instead you know the Light cantrip, which you can cast without requiring any material components. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for it. At 7th level, you may cast Daylight once per long rest.
• Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence score increases by 1.
• Elf Weapon Training. You have proficiency with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow.
• Noble Heritage. You have proficiency in the History and Persuasion skills.
• Sun's Resistance. You have resistance to fire damage and radiant damage.
