dear diary,   (hippo this is u writing this to yourself just in case u forget :) )   I checked my weight today and I am 450lbs. I've lost 50lbs because I haven't been eating much. not because of a lack in appetite, but because of the lack in cheeseburgers. I used to eat at least 25 a day and now I'm lucky if I can have 1/week :/. Hm. what else happened today? oh yeah - I was tatted then not tatted and that was a whole thing. i am trying to convert my friends to the Church of Tortuga but they don't seem to be taking it very well. elora got so mad at me. I will have to try to find another way to convince them. oh... well. I guess most of my friend are gone actually. pam died and greaves is nowhere to be found :/. now we have these new guys named Cortex and Kallip. not sure if they're friendly or not but we'll see.   oh yeah I also lost the amulet.   i am trying to stay positive but things have been really hard lately. half of my friends are dead or missing, i haven't eaten much, and now elora is mad at me. ill write her a letter and apologize for commenting on her tattoos. just because grandpa saber disapproves doesn't mean i have the right to be mean about it. yeah - I'll do that.   on the bright side, my family is growing. it used to be just me and Hugo, but now we have Ohim (Hippo Jr) and big Hugo (who only comes out sometimes). oh also, i am going to try and adopt those 2 mastiffs cortex summoned too. im used to having a big family around, so things have been kind of lonely lately with just Hugo and i. but, having jr and big Hugo around has made me feel less alone   -hippo
