Short description

Green-orange mud dragon Patriarch of the Wheel tribe. His recent survival of an assassination attempt has done little to make the jovial leader of the constantly evolving tribe more careful. Despite being impaled through his back by Air-Water hybrid, the grievous-looking injury missed his vital organs and Emerald made a near-miraculous recovery. Even still, he seemingly harbors no hatred for Hybrids of all kinds. 
Despite mistrust towards his carelessness from Matriarch Crimson, Emerald has proved to be a great and beloved leader amongst his subjects. Before his ascension as Patriarch, Emerald shown interest in many various fields but never found his true calling in any signle one of them. As such, he knows basics of Wingbinding, Shamanistic dreaming and Dreamscape, playing a harp and lately delves into history.
Emerald sired two sons, one of which, Glacier has been sent to a gryphon tribe of Fledgefeathers to serve as a diplomat for maintaining peaceful relations. The second son Fuchsia is currently the heir to become a Wheel tribe Patriarch once he reaches full maturity.

The greatest hindrance to the usual prolific nature of Patriarchs and producing heirs is Emerald's attraction towards all things unusual and foreign. This extends towards his sexuality as well, as Emerald is far more attracted to Hybrids and even females of other species, much to the dismay of Matriarch and the rest of the tribe.

Circumstances of Birth

After hatching ceremony, he was mistaken with his sister. For a single day, he was raised amongst other dragonesses before the mistake was corrected.
