This enchanted blade appears normal until it is activated. Currently, it is wielded by Aarathane.
When activated, the weapon gains astral properties. For a number of turns equal to the wielder's wisdom modifier (minimum of 2), Polaris stores damage that can be released soon after. With each strike for the number of turns decided, the user rolls 1d6. That damage is stored within the blade and can be selectively released on a target of the user's choice within 24 hours of the strikes that charged it.
