The Day of Vitality
General Summary
The Outcasts returned home to find that the guards they hired had been killed and that Zora had infiltrated their home. He explained that he killed the Ki Shaar who would not follow him (the elders included). Zora and the remaining pupils fought the party.
Bested in combat, Zora looked up to Alistair and said "weak". Alistair beheaded him in anger.
The party also received some letters. They did not disclose the details of their personal mail, but the mail addressed to the Outcasts contained an anonymous threat and a request to visit the prisoner they had captured from a suspected Uslosan war party not long ago.
Upon visiting the prisoner, they were warned that the creature released from Graford would soon make itself known.
Lekallette revealed her reluctance to travel with the party due to their heavy involvement in Uslosan and Rhorellian affairs.
They partook in the activities at the Day of Vitality, visiting the owner of the Arcana Connoisseur to help him open a sarcophagus.
They were soon nominated for Champion of the Year by Dithas Legran, Duke of Idenmount. The other nominees and their respective royals:

At the banquet, Castien Renriel gave a speech against the empire. This grew to a shouting match between Castien and Percerian. Castien was hauled away and taken back to Rosavel. Alistair and Wornal also spoke up, interrupting the argument.
The group quickly jumped into action, trying to fulfill their deal with Halis by convincing Rhorellia to start a war. They split up, trying to convince the Dukes first. Alistair's conversation with Bastien quickly turned hostile. Alistair almost started an argument with Elmorn Vorithil and Thifra Naravyre, but was pulled away by Lucyan. Lucyan's conversation with Elniana did not seem to get very far, but Duke Legran seemed convinced. The party revealed their interactions with Halis to the empire.
Mirafalor was named Rhorellian Champion of the Year (though Osder Orche received the most praise from the other nominees).
Finally, the group was pulled into a planning room. They were warned of an incoming threat to the empire: a failed vestige of Halis. The godling was headed for Idenmount. Mirafalor agreed to stand up to the creature, as did the Outcasts. Hergood refused.
