Recipe
Required ingredients:- Smear the deer tallow evenly over a non-stick cooking pan and heat up to 450º
- While pan heats up, season the steak with salt and pepper. Make sure the entire surface of the meat is seasoned properly. Peel onions and chop finely. Cut tomatoes into semi-thick discs.
- When the tallow begins to sizzle, put steak in the pan. Flip every few minutes. Cook for 10 minutes or until medium rare consistency is reached.
- Keep pan on heat while you pour 3 tablespoons of the barbecue sauce in the pan. Use a spoon and flip and move the steak around until it is glazed in barbecue sauce. Take pan off of heat and turn off stovetop.
- Move steak from pan to cutting board and cut it into approximately half inch-thick strips. Cut the sandwich bun in half and lay the strips diagonally on it. Next, put the onions, tomatoes, and lettuce on over the steak. Add the remaining tablespoon of barbecue sauce and the hot sauce if desired.
- Serve fresh and hot with a cold drink and side of fries or potato chips. Wow all of your friends with this amazing recipe!
