House Xantae

House Xantae is the last known remaining drow house to exist after the Great Cleansing.  They remain in hiding biding their time and growing their power in The Below and with their agents on the surface.
History:  House Xantae was a minor house of the drow and never really had much power and any members on the drow council.  They were known as survivors though even when other drow houses would try and eliminate them they would always find a way to avoid extinction.  Their survivability would become a key to them surviving the great cleansing of the drow which only their house was rumored to survive.  House Xantae is ruled by Matriarch Kassana Xantae who has ruled over the house for quite a few generations.  She is ruthless and cunning and her enemies have always underestimated her prowess last of which was Queen Raznia herself.  Now House Xantae bids its time as the only known remaining drow house while Kassana plots her revenge against the Queen of Razenia for her role as the architect of the Great Cleansing which has nearly driven the drow race extinct.
