The Lizard folk of Chima Possessed of a cold, hyper rationalism. Highly tribal, and fiercely loyal to their clan and city state, they are easily provoked to war. They believe that the spirt belongs to the individual, and acts in life bring honor first the individual, then the clan, the city state, and then all of Chima. However, no individual can survive the jungles of Chima alone. Each individual owes their survival to all others in their clan, and thus their physical body is not their own as much as it is the clans. On death, the spirit is honored and ushered on its way to the afterlife. The body, however, remains on Mikdash, and is to continue to provide aid to the clan, as the clan supplied it with food, shelter and safety. The Cold Ones raise their dead to defend their clans and cities. Necromancy is not considered a perversion of life, so much as it is a duty of the physical form to continue to work for the good of all. While their undead posses slightly more autonomy than standard skeletons and zombies, they abhor lichdom. For an individual to continue their life beyond their allotted years is considered perverse and selfish - robbing the clan of its due upon the death of the individual, and placing the individual needs above those of all other Cold Ones.
