Lemankainen and his consorts depart on the ship that sails over land, sea and sky in search of the Scythe of Time.

It took four others to pilot the ship. They began their search in the realm of the air, then traversed the known world by land and sea. For 15 years they traveled. Finally they reached the world's edge, and realized their ship could take them no further. They removed the piloting wheel and each took a portion before taking each a route into the unknown, all pledging with rings their fealty to one another.   None were seen again.
