The Sunbuilt outlasted their creators and developed a culture of their own, revering the universe and the joy of existence. The government of the Sunbuilt Uplifters is an autocratic, theocratic, hereditary monarchy, ruled by the Radiant Uplifter. The Sunbuilt take a special interest in guiding the development of pre-sapient species, which they set aside large portions of their colonies to do. The fact that the Sunbuilt are highly religious machines is not lost on other states in the galaxy, leaving the Uplifters with few allies. Despite this, they have endeavoured to spread their beliefs wherever possible through peaceful means.
