Magic in Mindosza

The World of Mindosza is the backdrop to conflict between land, people, factions, horrors and more. However, contrary to other fantasy settings, "Mindosza - Age of Dawnbreakers" does not subscribe to a multilayered planar "setup" of the world. There is no heaven, no hell, no plane of fire or the like. Instead, there is the Astral Plane, which is a mirror to the material plane. Every object and living being exists in both the material and astral plane at the same time, but the astral plane is home to most magical influences, so looking into the astral space will show magical entities and effects brightly while mundane items and folk will appear muted, only shadowlike. Some beings of magical nature can exist only in the astral plane (such as elemental beings of all 6 elements, horros, ghosts and more) and can choose to materialize freely or by external influences (for instance a spellcaster calling upon them).

  Therefore, when a spellcaster uses their powers, all magical traditions end up reaching into the astral plane to draw the power they seek. Arcane Casters such as wizards may not have been born with Magical abilities but through rigurous study have learned how to draw from this power. Their spellbooks and incantations let them reach into the astral plane and lend (or sometime force out) the power they seek. Divine Casters, through their deity are able to reach for the power they seek, the usually firm wall between material and astral plane becomes blurred as their deity helps guide them to cast a spell. Occult Casters use bizzare and often unexplainable ways to draw from the astral plane. The Vibration of a Bard's magic or the incense burned by a witch may entice a nearby astral being to grant them the power they seek to cast a spell. Lastly, Primal Casters use their prowess of the land, using their connection to the elements on the material plane to speak to their astral counterparts, gaining the power they are looking for in that moment.   Not much is known about the nature of the astral plane, as few people have dared to set foot into this space. (PF2E) However, positive and negative energy, as well as all elements (air, earth, fire, water + wood, metal) and energies (acid, cold, electricity, fire, force, sonic) draw their power from this plane. (/PF2E) Primordial Elements, undead souls - yet to pass on - and lifegiving force of creation, all can all be drawn from the astral plane, which leads many to believe, that the astral plane has a connection to the Titans . With each of the titans being associated to one of the elements, this would make the astral plane a common playing ground for these primordial forces.   During the Convergence, the close proximity - at times even overlap with the titans - would have empowered and charged the astral plane and many believe, that the level of magic might eventually go down, as the titans draw further away with each day, all but vanishing in the night sky.
