The Eldritch Nights

Once every three months, as Mindosza hides in the shadow of Szanaru, when it eclipses the sun for nine full days and nights, the firmament no longer shows the stars or any other celestial object, other than the feint and distant Titans. The denizens usually prepare for this time of quiet and reflection with religious rituals.
It is said, that during this time, feral wolves and those afflicted by their pites turn violent, no longer able to control the fire in their hearts.
