The Creator
Notch is the being who placed the block that would become the world of Minecraftia. He is the being who breathed life into the land. For hundreds of years, he watched over the world, controlled by the Creator of Minecraft, Markus Persson, until events within the game caused a real life invasion of Stockholm, Sweden. Since then, Notch has become one with the world of Minecraftia, and his successor, the Patron, watches over the balance of the world.
